Standard Suit Measurements

#TeachingsTuesdays
Though you know the importance and advantages of tailoring a suit for one’s body measurements, you must also know what the standard suit sizes are.

Usually, suits come in dimensions like 38S or 42L. Here the number indicates the chest measurement and the alphabet indicates the length of the suit.

For example, S means short (height of 5 feet 4-7 inches), R means regular (5 feet 7-11 inches), L means long (5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet 2 inches), XL means Extra long (6 feet 3 inches and above.)
