Men wear belts every day. But do they notice the buckles? And what type does it belong to? The answer is an absolute “NO.” While the belt is made of leather, the belt buckles are made of metals. The buckle type depends on the closure mechanism it follows.
The most common types include frame, box, and plate buckles. In the frame type, the strap goes into the frame and the prong gets inserted into the holes. In the box type, you just need to press it, and no holes or prongs. With plate type, it’s just hooking.
