What are the different types of lapels in suits? Most suits come with these three major types of lapels.
-Notched: It is a V-shaped lapel style that befits both your professional and casual suit styles. Looks perfect when the width ranges between 2.25 and 3.5 inches.
-Peaked: This lapel has a peak-shaped edge where the lapel and collar joints are. This is absolutely a professional-style lapel. The width could be anything above 3.3 inches.
-Shawled: Here, the lapel looks like the collar extension. The shape is round-edged and plain. Mostly found on tuxedos. The super slim width looks classy and trending.
