Lenny Kravitz at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards

#ToplinerThursdays

Lenny preferred rock-style attire for the last People’s Choice Award’s red carpet. For this, he rightly chose the color and the fabric. The all-black color was way too impressive and the leather fabric was dazzling.

The notable sensational elements in the ensemble were the no-shirt look, broad shoulders, full-hand sleeves for one arm, oversized glasses, and a matching broad silver chain.

How useful are extra-long coats in winter?

#TeachingsTuesdays

Extra-long coats are useful particularly in winter because they give coverage from the top to your knees or calf. In winter, as layering increases day by day, these extra-long coats can be considered one of the best suitable outer layers. Based on the required warmth, you can choose between single and double-breasted coats. However, having at least 2 or 3 of them is quintessential for every man.

“Never use the word “cheap”. Today everybody can look chic in inexpensive clothes (the rich buy them too).” —Karl Lagerfeld.

#MotivationalMondays

True that there is nothing called ‘cheap’ clothes. Men can look chic and dapper even on a simple tee and a pair of jeans. Buying expensive clothes doesn’t create new styles. It’s all about the color, balance, styling rules, fabric, and design choices for the right time and the right occasion. And most importantly, every outfit is good when paired or matched right.

The thing about a black tie event is that if you wear a black tie, no one can say you’re underdressed.” —Barney Stinson

#MotivationalMondays

What do you think? Is this witty? Or a fact? Of course, no one can question you when you wear a black tie for the black tie event in the evening. However, some use this as a hack to do justice to the event by simply wearing a black tie when the rest of the outfit is unmatched or not up to the standards. Also, some would like to keep their outfits simple, so they prefer a simple black tie and a suit.

Are extra-long and thick layers good for winter?

#TeachingsTuesdays

While men prefer building up layers as early as in the late fall, winter requires much more care and attention. Winter is already in and it’s time to stop using the lightweight or less thick layers. Preferably, heavy fabrics must line up your closet for the next two months. Be it formal, casual, or occasional, prefer insulating fabrics for enough warmth. Especially—heavy, thick, and extra-long fabrics like wool, flannel, and tweed-like fabrics are the best.
