Rules for single-button, single-breasted suit

#TeachingsTuesdays

Hi men out there, learn the basic buttoning rules with us!
A single-button, single-breasted suit is an evening suit that’s quite longer than usual suits and has only one front button. As a rule, you have to fasten the only button on the blazer when standing. When sitting for dinner, you can unbutton them.

Well, unlike other blazers with two or more buttons, you don’t have a choice about whether to fasten the first or last button.

#MotivationalMondays

What a short but powerful quote by the great fashion designer! It’s true that people can’t keep buying clothes to dress up in new styles and for new seasons. Thus, you’ve got to learn to choose, mix, and match, but not buy new ones every time. Indeed, creating new outfit styles with what you already have is an art that every man must learn in their lifetime.

At Bucco, we keep giving tips on how to style yourself differently and in vogue. Keep in touch with us!

A floral red wool blazer for your romantic fall wedding!

#WeddingsbyBucco

Floral patterns are always a great choice for apparel when it comes to autumn. So, why not use them for styling your wedding suit?

The lovely white florals on this red suit spin the love tale between you and the bride. The brick-red border on the blazer fantasizes about your love and care for your lady. The cream trousers keep you calm amid the wedding eventualities. The maroon shirt and bowtie show how sentimental you are toward your everlasting relationship with your wife-to-be.

The unusual trio for a casual fall occasion

#FreestyleFridays

Seriously, a flawless three-color casual outfit for an outdoor informal event this autumn! The jacket is extra long with three to four buttons. You can customize it for either single or double breasts. However, you retain the wide, top-notch lapels and flap pockets to make it look more casual.

Pair this jacket with non-cotton brown trousers (corduroy or velvet) and a sky blue shirt or t-shirt. Wear dark maroon shoes to complement the trousers. Here you have the first-class casual trio look!

An ancient-era style suit with a unique necktie style

#Throwbackthursdays

It is a simple two-piece tuxedo. Yet it has a lot of details that remind us of the ancient era of suit styling. The tuxedo is black, moderately padded, has a shawl color, and does not have loose cuffs. The trousers are slightly tailored in breech style. So far, this is an ordinary tuxedo. Now come the retro specifications on the neck!

The necktie looks both bow- and scarf-type in white cloth. The collar is completely covered, and the neck is widely covered. This style relates to the ancient rulers’ way of knotting the tie!

A perfect 3-piece business suit in pure new wool!

#WearItWednesdays

This is absolutely a business suit made up of pure new wool and designed in three pieces. Customize it with your choice of color between blue, gray, and black. The blazer is uniquely designed with three front pockets, with two on your left and one on your right. A white shirt will pair with any of the business suit colors.

Men can choose to wear it for grand occasions like an international conference, an award function, or product launch meet-ups.

What is “button stance” in suits?

#TeachingsTuesdays

Button stance is a measurement that determines the position or placement of the front buttons. You may have seen two- or three-buttoned blazers with respective button stances.  Most designers use the standard stance, and it will work for most men. However, in some cases, based on the torso length, you may have to alter the button stance.

Apart from the standard, the most widely used button stances are lower 1”, 1.5”, raise 1”, and 1.5”.

“Never wear anything that panics the cat.” —P.J. O’Rourke

#MotivationalMondays

You might have heard this quote many times from many leading fashionistas. Well, it is always better to wear the perfect thing. And not the ones that pull down or cover up. For sure, those that you wear to cover up end up panicking the cat. In fashion, either you adhere to these principles and earn respect or you become the attention seeker for wearing the wrong clothes the wrong way.

Fit into this amazing corduroy pastel or pine green blazer! Add a simple white-based, striped button-down shirt with dark green cuffs and colors to this blazer. Also, add a pair of light tea-green trousers to blend with the green-shaded blazer. Make the trousers unpleated and chino-fit to keep the overall look casual and cozy. A magnificent business look with a vintage flair!

#Throwbackthursdays

A business professional who’s looking for a vintage style can readily tailor this suit, without a doubt! The suit is a two-piece blazer and trousers made of linen or premium cotton fabric. The color can be a dark one, like iron gray or passport blue, to give a professional feel. The lapels can be notch in medium size. You can customize it with either two or three buttons.

The vintage flair comes when you wear a mildly patterned necktie and a two-shade hat!

A gray and blue suit for business leaders

#WearItWednesdays

For top management or business leaders, suits are essential for every meeting or conference they attend on a daily basis. In that case, when you’re bored of wearing plain gray or blue suits, you can opt for something different while still looking professional.

This is one such extremely stylish business suit, with gray and blue combined in the attire. The three-piece suit is gray with plaid fabric. The necktie, pocket square, and socks are apparently in indigo blue. Your cufflinks, buttons, and shoes can be black to contrast with the gray suit. Here you go!
