How do I wear a single-breasted, three-button suit?

#TeachingsTuesdays

A three-buttoned suit is not a common suit. Only when men customize their suits, there is a possibility for such three buttons. However, there are a couple of things that you need to follow when wearing them.

When sitting, you can unbutton all three buttons in your single-breasted suit. But when standing, either you have to fasten the first two buttons or fasten only the middle button.

It’s surprising to see an experimental fashion designer say so! Perhaps he must have understood that “fashion comes and goes; color comes and goes; but not black fashion.”

Did you know? Black is the only color that never fades in style. Be it a century ago or the current fashion trends, black has its power, style, and fan following. Most businessmen prefer black to express their confidence, elegance, and professionalism.

The jacket is made up of a herringbone tweed fabric in a jungle green shade. It is single-breasted with two buttons, one flap, and one besom pocket. The lapels are notch and medium length. The trousers are slim-fitted and styled as chino pants. You can customize the green color as either emerald or hunter green. Because these shades can blend well with the jacket’s jungle green.

The shirt is, as usual, the regular white dress shirt. To make the outfit more casual, you can avoid tucking in the dress shirt.

Well, though we have much respect for the great Italian fashion designer and his works on luxury fashion, at Bucco, we have some differences of opinion with his aforementioned quote. According to us, both style and fashion have quality. In those days, maybe quality might have created a difference. But not in this century anymore.
