Blend Your Suit and Sneakers

Here’s a suit and sneaker combination replacing the suit-and-tee look. The suit again has to be smooth and sharp without statement pinstripes or bold check prints in a lightweight wool-blend or cotton fabric. Go for a pair of white sneakers (best recommended), and maintain the silhouette to be clean and low-cut and—like regular lace-ups—usually in leather.
Colored sneakers will look splendid in tonal symmetry, and contrast fabrics to the suit itself. Here is another twist to it: navy suit with retro sneakers in blue suede paneling and a dash of white, complementing the white in the shirt. The formal touch can be lent by an Oxford shirt, worn tucked in, without tie, and with the collar unbuttoned. Loosen the socks a bit, and you’re all set to go.
