In the tradition of bespoke tailoring, patterns are designed from scratch for a client based on their exact measurements. This differs greatly from the cookie-cutter process of ready-to-wear which uses standardized sizing to fit the masses, or made-to-measure which is produced to order from a block pattern. With bespoke, you choose your preferred styling from the lapel to the pockets to the number of buttons. The material is basted, which means it is stitched together, as opposed to being fused (glued). As a result, you get a high-quality garment made from the finest materials that will last for years.

Once the basted suit has been assembled, a fitting will take place to make any final adjustments to the construction. Our master tailors will then make the finishing alterations and the suit is pressed and delivered upon completion.

The first visit

  • 1. An appointment is set up for us to come directly to your office or home.
  • 2. 30+ measurements are taken along with photographs of your front, back, and side to ensure the perfect fit for your body.
  • 3. A through evaluation of your wardrobe needs takes place; what do you need to add or replace? What are your tastes and your lifestyle needs?
  • 4. Based on your budget, we work together to select fabrics and styling to personalize the garment just for you; cuff style, collar style, monograms, and more.
  • 5. The garment is assembled in the United States in 4-6 weeks, when a follow-up appointment is set.

The second fitting

At this appointment, any necessary alterations will be noted in your permanent pattern file. This ensures a perfect fitting garment automatically in future orders.- A master fitter marks the garment for alterations - The suit is then brought to our tailors for alterations.
