#FreestyleFridays
It’s another Friday, while a T-shirt isn’t fitting in all workplaces for casual Friday, you can match it up with a pair of smart chinos and linen. As a matter of choice, you can even pair one with a relaxed suit for a casual-meets-corporate or business style.

Mid ’60s Sports Coat – Semi Casual Outfit
#ThrowbackThursdays
Sports coats featuring big, bold prints and colors alternated grey flannel suits in the mid ’60s. Initially worn as a semi-casual outfit, it entered into the workspace as a bright fashion statement. The formal and informal were put in one basket with an eye-catchy color and slim fit that later modeled today’s professional men’s fashion.

Smart Casual Wednesday
#WearitWednesdays
I was asked what ‘Smart’ Casual is. My version is generally just one step from wearing a suit. I recommend pairing chinos with boat shoes on your bottom half. Then, mix it up with a crisp, pressed shirt in light blue or white, matched with a brightly colored sports jacket or blazer.
Side Adjusters Rather Than Belt Loops
#TeachingTuesdays
Can you change trousers from belt loops to side adjusters?
Yes, it’s possible to convert your pant waistband from belt loops to side adjusters. I’ve helped a few clients of mine remove the belt loops by using the spare fabric from their trouser hem to form side adjusters, but, of course, only if there’s sufficient fabric available.
Monday Blues – Linen Outfit For The Workplace
#MotivationalMondays
“If people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can’t hear them anymore.” – Michele Ruiz
If Monday Blues is only about the sad feeling after the weekend, think again. Blue represents vibrancy and positivity especially in a workplace. Ditch the normal black and white shirts, and give your ‘Monday Blues’ a fresh twist by teaming up a linen blue shirt under a khaki color, and layer it with a blazer if you want.
Pros & Cons of Measurement Apps Versus getting measured by a Professional
Technological background:
Technology has taken rapid strides ever since the first online store for clothing emerged on the web in 1995. Back then it was only shopping convenience—a click of the button at the comfort of the home or office. Still nothing could sway the gentlemen who wanted the best of the best, be it custom tailored shirts, pants, jackets or bespoke suits. Beginning in the 2010’s, the rise of AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) technology transformed the way tailoring was done. AR and VR apps provided an intuitive way to measure the correct fitting for any outfit, whether ‘off-the-shelf’ or bespoke, right from the customer’s smartphone…easier done than said!

Pros & Cons of Measurement Apps:
# During the measurement process, selecting the fabric with a measurement app is a breeze. One can select the fabric variation, in addition to structures, checks and stripes. The fabric selected and the final visualization of the tailored construction can be instantly viewed on the app. All said and done, when it comes to the selection of the fabric, experience will tell you that bespoke tailors, due to their direct connection with fabric manufacturers and suppliers, can readily understand the finesse and utility of the fabric material, and recommend the optimal solution.
# Measurement apps are built to provide a tailored fit just with the click of a button. You can pick between regular, slim, relaxed or even loose fitting, as well as select your shirt length, depending on whether you tuck or untuck your shirts—all these and more. A tailoring professional, on the other hand, may rely on 100% perfect fit from every angle and crevice, agreed, the process is a tad time-consuming. By definition, a bespoke fit is tailored to exact the measurement specifications.
# Customization is another key feature of most measurement apps. It ensures custom fit without getting yourself measured every time. And also the margin for error is very small, considering its automation capabilities. A tailoring professional is again your best friend when it comes to customization. Fine and minute tailoring adjustments can be easily identified by traditional methods. With a bespoke tailor, you’ll feel more confident than ever!

“True love never dies; it only gets stronger with time.” – Anonymous
Outdoors, rustic, bohemian and relaxed wedding styles are becoming increasingly popular. And so does tweed continue to trend more than ever before. Remember tweed waistcoats, tweed suits and even tweed flat caps are all still quite popular and worth a try.
Looking To Shed Your Boyish Look And Give Yourself A More mature Air?
#FreestyleFridays
Are you looking to shed your boyish look and give yourself a more mature air? Then, consider giving up your graphic Tees. Despite popular belief, they don’t actually lend you an edgy or original look. Instead, go for solid, one-color t-shirts, striped tees or henleys. You may also agree to disagree. Now, that’s fine. Do let me know your alternative version.

Tips To Top Off Your Style Quotient
#WearitWednesdays
Here’s a pair of semi-casual pants to top off your style quotient this week, combining stretch fabric for greater freedom of movement with a smart and modern profile. It can sit at the waist comfortably; it features a trim fit through the hips and thighs with a slightly tapered leg opening, besides flat front, finished hem and no cuff. Recommended colors: medium blue, light grey, white.
Is Your Shirt Collar Too Loose?
#TeachingTuesdays
How do you know if your shirt collar is too loose?
The weight of your tie tends to pull the collar forward and down on your chest. This affects the natural fall of the shirt’s shoulders, and makes it look as if you’re slouching. The gap between the top button and your neck is also a clear indication that you’re wearing your dad’s clothes!
Business Formal Attire For Men
#MotivationalMondays
“Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better” – Mary Angelou
When it comes to dressing for the office, if you don’t know what is best, stay with the basics. Why not start with a dark suit and tie? For a business formal setting, a black suit is great with a light button-down shirt. Accessorize with oxford or loafer shoes with clean lines; belts; small, minimal cuff links or a tie clip.
