#WearitWednesdays
Fall is simply the season for layering. Outwear is optional. But for a great finishing touch, I recommend these pieces for the final layering: Pea coats, Overcoats, Down coats, Leather jackets, Waxed cotton jackets, Parkas, Topcoats and Duffel coats. Not only are they easy on the bank account, but also chic and stylish.

Don’t Let Your Sleeves Unroll
#TeachingTuesdays
Is there a right way to roll your shirtsleeves?
Yes. Ditch the usual way of rolling your cuff over on itself and further up your arm. Instead flip the cuff back, and pull it slightly to just under the arm. Then hold the bottom (inside-out portion), and gently fold it up so that it traps such that the bottom cuff is covered. This’ll ensure your shirt sleeves won’t unroll again just hitting the right place.
Navy Suits For This Fall
#MotivationalMondays
“I said that the issue is not Monday. The issue is action without motivation.”- Denny Dey
The fall season has come upon us so quickly. I cannot believe that we are already in the month of October! This fall, for a well-tailored suit you can hardly go wrong with a two-button suit to slim your profile. Here’s a classic navy suit that doubles as a go-to-suit for meetings. My pick is a white spread collar dress and bold navy tie. You can put it on with a range of styles or dress shirts including pattern. Come this fall you can team your suit with a light weight scarf for those bitingly cold mornings.
Top tailors are disrupting the made-to-measure market in more creative ways!

Mix And Match Prints/Patterns For Wedding
#WeddingsByBucco
“A wedding is such a girl thing.” – Selma Blair
Is wedding really a girl thing? Not really so. Let me explain. The black jacket, white shirt combination may be an all time classic, but there isn’t any rule stating that you can’t put prints/patterns into the mix. You will love something simple and straight like this windowpane (in the image). It’ll produce a statement without being too flashy or dour.
Blend Your Suit and Sneakers
#FreestyleFridays
Here’s a suit and sneaker combination replacing the suit-and-tee look. The suit again has to be smooth and sharp without statement pinstripes or bold check prints in a lightweight wool-blend or cotton fabric. Go for a pair of white sneakers (best recommended), and maintain the silhouette to be clean and low-cut and—like regular lace-ups—usually in leather.
Colored sneakers will look splendid in tonal symmetry, and contrast fabrics to the suit itself. Here is another twist to it: navy suit with retro sneakers in blue suede paneling and a dash of white, complementing the white in the shirt. The formal touch can be lent by an Oxford shirt, worn tucked in, without tie, and with the collar unbuttoned. Loosen the socks a bit, and you’re all set to go.

60s Men’s Fashion With Cardigan Sweaters
#ThrowbackThursdays
It weren’t just the youngsters who started the 60s men’s fashion. The middle-aged men alternated suits and sport coats with cardigan sweaters to relax or socialize after work hours. They sported this look on the weekends too, minus the tie and with a polo shirt usually replacing a dress shirt. Can we call this the 60’s Dad look as that was typically the case in most popular TV soaps and shows?
How Texture Can Impact The Smartness Of An Outfit
#WearitWednesdays
There is a major factor that can impact the relative casualness or smartness of an outfit: texture. Think about some of the most formal items in men’s wear—barathea dinner jackets or worsted wool business suits—they are nearly smooth and shiny. Alternate the worsted wool for a tweed or matte flannel, you apparently change the formal feel of the material. This will lend the garment a bigger size, adding to the casualness of the outfit, given that smarter looks are usually sleek and straight. This is a useful rule of thumb that you can use to make any piece: shirts, trousers, knits or even shoes casual.
Check Your Off-The-Rack Blazer Is Fit And Perfect
#TeachingTuesdays
How fitting is an off-the-rack blazer?
If you’re pressed to go off-the-rack, ensure you do it absolutely right. A keen eye is essential to a great fit first and foremost, but if you’re a starter, and looking for a fool-proof method that your jacket fit is impeccable, simply wear it, and stand with your side against the wall. Check how the shoulder pad touches the wall before your arm does. Does it sound simple to you?
Beige Business Attire For Men
#MotivationalMondays
“Either you run the day or the day runs you.” –Jim Rohn
With this week’s outfit idea, you either run the show or steal it. If you think wearing the same old navy and black suit is unimpressive, you’ve got to choose beige color suit instead. You can go with any shirt you place underneath. Accessorize it with a decent watch and matching belt for a complementary look. A pair of tassel loafers is optional. You can select any other types of loafers or dress shoes you prefer.
What to avoid: Chelsea or any kind of boots; tan color dress shoes as it makes this attire far too monotonous.
Three – The Magic Number?
#WeddingsByBucco
“There is no remedy for love but to love more.” – Henry David Thoreau
Three-the magic number?
It is not always you require a waistcoat for a formal wedding look. You can be disruptive with a somewhat casual style with a three-piece suit. It beefs up the importance of the event, particularly if it is not your sartorial modus operandi. And as you stealthily hit the dance floor, you can tend to cast aside the jackets, but may still appear pretty much the dapper fellow.
Cropped Trousers Are A Dashing Fashion Trend For Men
#FreestyleFridays
Cropped trousers are all pervasive and started to penetrate men’s fashion space last year. The number of users searching for cropped trousers on Pinterest spiked by 671 percent—and this means guys can be a little skin revealing at the ankles. Why not flaunt your cool pair of socks or that spanking new pair of sneakers to score quick style points? Tell me why should only girls have all the fun?
