A timeless casual fall suit for men!

#FreestyleFridays

Of course, black is timeless, and here is a fall casual suit style for those looking to go smart and not 100% formal. The blazer is single-breasted and has thin padding on the shoulders—just to make it look casual and not too structured. The inner layer is not a regular dress shirt. Instead, it is a roll-up neck woolen tee—again in black—to match the fall weather. Wearing a matching black trouser completes this one-of-a-kind casual suit style for men.

Cimafunk at Grammy Awards last year

#ToplinerThursdays

This musician known for mixing funk and hip-hop music is also renowned for his exceptional and bold style choices. An epitome is his glittering appearance at the Grammy Awards 2023—the blazer was heavily worked, the trousers were vintage styled, and the glasses were super cool. When standing alone, each element of the ensemble looks different. But when worn together, they make a great combination that resonates with his pop and funk mixing. Undoubtedly, this is a 100% apt and justified look!

Again, blue and black business attire for businessmen!

#WearItWednesdays

Indeed, a blue suit with black checks is the most elegant combination in a business suit. Here, the model wears a similar suit with ‘black-watch’ tartan checks in black on a 100% pure woolen blue suit. The suit set has three pieces—a blazer, a waistcoat, and a matching pair of trousers.

The specifications include notch lapels, flap pockets, gray buttons, medium canvas, tapered bottoms, shawl-collared waistcoats, and contrasting forest green neckties.

How to choose jackets and coats for autumn?

#TeachingsTuesdays

Be it jackets or coats, this is how you choose for autumn—lightweight or thin for early fall, slightly heavy for mid-fall, and ultra-thick or double layers for late fall (to welcome the winter).

At present, we are transitioning from early to the middle of autumn. Accordingly, we must leave behind lightweight coats and wear heavy layers. Also, it is time to keep heavyweight jackets or double layers ready in the closet.

This great novelist and writer has rightly said that style is everything. By saying so, he means that doing anything with style is better than doing something without it. Even if you do an uninteresting task, do it with style so that you give your one hundred percent interest and effort to make it fruitful.

Why Suede Bomber Jacket is Perfect for Fall Fashion?

Currently, we’re transitioning from mid- to late-fall. This means we have to get ready for the winter in a couple of weeks. So, layering is something that everyone will talk and walk about. On this note, in this short piece of blog, let’s unveil why suede bomber jackets are perfect for fall.

What is a suede?

It is premium-quality leather sourced from the underskin of animals like lamb, goat, sheep, cow, pigs, deer, calves, etc. They are extremely soft and thin when compared to ordinary leather, which is thick.

In general, napped suede leather is used to make clothes (jackets) and accessories (purses, wallets, shoes, belts, watches, etc.) Owing to their unique look and feel (texture), most fashion designers consider them one of the finest choices for making unique style statements.

Characteristics of suede leather

Comparatively, suede leather is thin and delicate, which makes it suitable for draping and molding. This pliable nature, however, varies depending upon the source or the type, viz., pigskin suede, cowhide suede, sheepskin suede, etc. Also, this leather is highly durable and can be used as a substitute for regular clothes or fabrics. Another characteristic that differentiates suede fabrics is that they are greatly insulting, despite the minimal thickness.

Suede Bomber Jackets

Suede bomber jackets are made of suede leather on the outside and wool on the inner side of the apparel. When worn with the right balance and proportions, they give a smooth blended look with sophistication and ruggedness. They are napped and are available in different hues—leather brown, tan, forest green, black, emerald, and gray.

The reasons why men prefer these suede bomber jackets are:

  • They help create versatile looks with one jacket
  • They are long-lasting and worth the money spent
  • They are suitable for layering in the cold season
  • They come in different styles—buttoned, zipped, pullover, etc
  • The looks are natural, timeless, classic, and bold

Are they perfect for fall fashion?

Well, so far we have seen what suede is, what its characteristics are, and how they are liked in the fashion realm. Now, let’s dive into whether they are perfect for fall fashion.

To be part of fall fashion:

  • First, the apparel must have natural and earthy shades, which the suede bomber jackets already have. So, yes!
  • Second, the apparel must count as a layer. And as all are aware, these suede jackets are excellent outer layers. Tick!
  • Third, the apparel must provide enough warmth to cope with the fall’s cold weather. Suede jackets are not thicker and heavier than wool or fur jackets. Anyway, it isn’t freezing cold in the fall. So, this is also sorted!
  • Fourth, the apparel must blend or naturally pair with other elements of the ensemble—undershirts, tees, midlayers, etc. Again, a tick!
  • Fifth, the apparel must enable a wide range of tapestries. Well, you can do anything on a suede jacket. Done!
  • Sixth, the apparel must work for semi-formal and casual occasions. Yes, suede bomber jackets align!

What else and what not? There are several more reasons why these animal hide jackets are perfect for fall fashion. And if you’re a man who owns at least one such suede jacket, you know all the answers!

Conclusion

Suede bomber jackets are a perfect choice for fall fashion and we recommend every man to have one or two styles of them in the wardrobe. Trust us, they will never get outdated. They are timeless!!

Have you seen Himesh Patel’s outfit at the BAFTA Awards 2024?

#ToplinerThursdays

The green velvet blazers gave a refreshing look to eyes bored of regular black and white formal suits on the red carpet. Of course, the green was pastel, light, and leafy. Though the lapels and pockets on the velvet blazer were usual, the look was chic overall. Minimalistic style elements, like black bow ties, white slanted pocket squares, forest green buttons, cufflinks, etc., did justice to the attire.

The fit is made to measure and the canvas is adequate for the structure. The lapels are notch-type and the pockets are flap-type. The trousers are perfectly matching the blazers and the waistcoat with a tapered bottom.

The necktie is rightly chosen regimental in red and blue to contrast the white dress shirt.

What are the base and mid layers?

#TeachingsTuesdays

In general, layering has two parts—base and mid. Functionally, both of these layers do the same job, i.e., to regulate your body temperature. However, the former lies close to your skin and is also accountable for wicking the sweat from your body. On the other hand, the latter falls between the outermost and innermost layers of your clothing.

Depending on the weather, the fabric of these layers changes. For example, men prefer cotton layers in the summer and fleece or wollen layers in the winter.

“Fashion is architecture; it is a matter of proportions.” —Coco Chanel

#MotivationalMondays

Each element in a man’s suit is designed based on proportions. For example, your jacket or tee should follow the rule of 1/3rd; the sleeve length ends where your arm ends; and the first button on the blazer must stay right at the belly button; etc. Ideally, if the proportions are right, the suit will look great on you! Thus, fashion experts refer to architecture when styling a men’s suit.
