Are extra-long and thick layers good for winter?

While men prefer building up layers as early as in the late fall, winter requires much more care and attention. Winter is already in and it’s time to stop using the lightweight or less thick layers. Preferably, heavy fabrics must line up your closet for the next two months. Be it formal, casual, or occasional, prefer insulating fabrics for enough warmth. Especially—heavy, thick, and extra-long fabrics like wool, flannel, and tweed-like fabrics are the best.
