Vertical Pockets On Dress Pants Are Not Uncommon
#TeachingTuesdays
Dress pants with vertical pockets are not uncommon. If the pants don’t fit, this style is the most vulnerable to flare out. To crack this, either get them altered or go for the nuclear option and sew the pockets shut. Slanted front pockets, as found on some dress slacks, are preferable to vertical pockets because they are less likely to flare out. Pockets in the West can be seen on jeans and chinos, and they won’t flare out because they’re cut closer to the hip.
