Collars go through undue stress throughout their wear—tie tugging and a slimy neck on a hot and sultry day can make your collar wilt with time. This can be prevented by fastening the top button when you hang up your shirt. This keeps the shirt firm and tight on the hanger (ensuring your clothes don’t slip and get creased), whilst also keeping your shirt collar crisp and in supreme condition.
