It weren’t just the youngsters who started the 60s men’s fashion. The middle-aged men alternated suits and sport coats with cardigan sweaters to relax or socialize after work hours. They sported this look on the weekends too, minus the tie and with a polo shirt usually replacing a dress shirt. Can we call this the 60’s Dad look as that was typically the case in most popular TV soaps and shows?
